A Research Center dedicated to improving your performance

Product innovation, Research and Development are our main levers for ensuring the technological breakthroughs on which racing products rely. The Solaize Research Centre, near Lyon (France), is one of the three research centres belonging to TOTAL's Refining and Marketing Division. What is more, TOTAL is the world's fourth largest oil company, operating in more than 130 countries.

The 300 engineers and technicians at the Solaize Research Centre are dedicated to improving existing products and developing the products of the future. In particular, they hone the formulations of the custom fuels and lubricants used in different motor sports.

Driven by the relentless quest for performance, our scientists use an impressive array of test resources (simulation, modelling, laboratories, engine test benches, etc) to continuously formulate new fuels and lubricants that combine high performance and compliance with regulations.
